Registration Policies & Agreements

The Precision Dance Lab LLC

By registering a dancer for a Precision Dance Lab event, the undersigned parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees to the following:

1. PARENT / GUARDIAN AUTHORIZATION

I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the registered dancer and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on their behalf.

2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand that participation in dance classes, workshops, intensives, rehearsals, conditioning exercises, kickline training, flexibility training, and related physical activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, strains, sprains, illness, and other injuries that may result from participation.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my dancer's participation in Precision Dance Lab programming.

3. MEDICAL FITNESS

I certify that my dancer is physically capable of participating in dance training and has no medical condition that would prevent safe participation, except as disclosed during registration.

I understand that it is my responsibility to disclose any injuries, medical conditions, allergies, medications, or other health concerns prior to participation.

4. PHYSICAL CORRECTIONS & INSTRUCTION

I understand that instructors may provide verbal and physical corrections as part of dance instruction. These corrections may include adjustments to posture, alignment, placement, technique, or movement execution and will be conducted professionally and solely for educational purposes.

5. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and hold harmless The Precision Dance Lab LLC, its owners, instructors, contractors, employees, assistants, volunteers, host facilities, and affiliated personnel from any claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my dancer's participation in Precision Dance Lab activities.

6. EMERGENCY MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION

In the event of an illness, injury, or medical emergency, I authorize Precision Dance Lab personnel to obtain medical treatment for my dancer if I cannot be reached immediately.

I understand that any medical expenses incurred are my sole responsibility.

7. VENUE ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I understand that Precision Dance Lab events may be held at third-party studios, schools, or facilities. The Precision Dance Lab LLC is not responsible for circumstances, conditions, or incidents outside of its direct control.

8. CODE OF CONDUCT

I understand that all dancers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, professional, and safe manner at all times.

The Precision Dance Lab reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, inappropriate, or detrimental to the experience of other participants. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.

9. PERSONAL PROPERTY

I understand that The Precision Dance Lab LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

10. NO GUARANTEE OF PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

I understand that participation in Precision Dance Lab programs does not guarantee acceptance into any dance company, training program, audition, educational institution, scholarship program, or professional opportunity.

Any instruction, mentorship, feedback, or industry insight provided during Precision Dance Lab programming is educational in nature and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of future results.

11. PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE

Photo and video permissions are governed separately through the Photo & Video Release completed during registration.

12. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I certify that I have read and understand this Participant Agreement & Liability Waiver in its entirety.

I understand the risks associated with participation, voluntarily agree to the terms outlined above, and consent to my dancer's participation in Precision Dance Lab programming.

By completing registration, submitting payment, and accepting this agreement electronically, I acknowledge that this agreement is legally binding.

The Precision Dance Lab LLC

Due to limited enrollment and the advance planning required for each event, all registrations are subject to the following refund policy:

CANCELLATION WITHIN 24 HOURS OF PURCHASE

Registrations canceled within 24 hours of purchase are eligible for a full refund.

CANCELLATION MORE THAN 30 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the event are eligible for a 50% refund of the amount paid.

CANCELLATION WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE EVENT

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the event.

TRANSFERS

Registrations may not be transferred to another dancer without prior written approval from The Precision Dance Lab.

EVENT CANCELLATION

If The Precision Dance Lab cancels an event for any reason, participants will receive a full refund.

By registering for a Precision Dance Lab event, participants acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.

The Precision Dance Lab LLC

As part of the Precision Dance Lab experience, photography and videography may take place throughout the event for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes.

By registering a dancer for a Precision Dance Lab event, the undersigned parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees to the following:

1. CONSENT TO PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RECORDING

I understand that photographs, video recordings, and other media may be captured during Precision Dance Lab events, including classes, workshops, rehearsals, performances, group activities, and related programming.

I grant The Precision Dance Lab LLC permission to photograph, record, and capture my dancer's likeness, image, voice, and participation during event activities.

2. USE OF MEDIA

I grant The Precision Dance Lab LLC the unrestricted right to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, edit, and share such photographs, videos, recordings, and other media for educational, promotional, marketing, advertising, social media, website, email, print, and business purposes.

I understand that photographs and video recordings may be shared through websites, social media platforms, digital marketing materials, email campaigns, print materials, and other promotional channels controlled by The Precision Dance Lab LLC.

3. NO COMPENSATION

I understand that neither I nor my dancer will receive compensation, royalties, or other payment for the use of such photographs, videos, recordings, or other media.

4. OWNERSHIP OF MEDIA

I understand that all photographs, videos, recordings, and media captured by or on behalf of The Precision Dance Lab LLC shall remain the sole property of The Precision Dance Lab LLC.

5. RELEASE OF CLAIMS

I release and hold harmless The Precision Dance Lab LLC and its owners, instructors, contractors, employees, representatives, and affiliates from any claims, demands, liabilities, or causes of action arising from the use of such photographs, videos, recordings, or other media as described herein.

6. CONDITION OF PARTICIPATION

I understand that photography and videography are an integral part of Precision Dance Lab events and promotional activities. Consent to this Photo & Video Release is a condition of participation in Precision Dance Lab programming.

7. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the registered dancer and have the authority to grant this permission on their behalf.

By registering for a Precision Dance Lab event, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to this Photo & Video Release.
